Specially-Coated Bromelain is enteric coated to protect the bromelain from becoming active in the stomach and act as a digestive enzyme for food. Bromelain, a mixture of proteases extracted from the stem of the pineapple, inhibits inflammatory factors to support joint health. Bromelain’s fluid-regulating properties may result from its ability to inhibit inflammatory cytokine production, inhibit neutrophil migration and more.
