L-carnitine participates in lipid metabolism, has the ability to lower cholesterol, transports long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria, and affects the activity of hormones, especially testosterone and thyroid hotmon. It intensifies the processes of burning fatty acids, which inhibits the growth of adipose tissue and prevents obesity.
